SICIT is also among the leaders of the global chemical industry in terms of sustainability, a now indispensable element of its business model. This path has been studded with concrete initiatives in each of the three ESG aspects (Environment, Social and Governance):

  • Environment: SICIT is committed to creating eco-friendly products, aiming to reduce waste and emissions while promoting the use of energy from renewable sources.

  • Social: The company places emphasis on transparency, legality and maintaining correct relations with all stakeholders, valorising human capital and the local community.

  • Governance: SICIT ensures strict compliance with regulations, ethical codes and best practices, integrating principles of good management and business responsibility into every aspect of governance.

Within this context, in 2022 SICIT outlined its first sustainability plan for the 2023-2026 four-year period. This plan falls within the framework of the UN 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to respond effectively to stakeholder expectations and identify areas for strengthening and continuing ESG practices already underway.
